National Authority for Tunnels (NAT)

National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) is a Government Agency established in 1983 for the implementation of metro projects and road tunnels in the Arab Republic of Egypt. It operates under the jurisdiction of Egypt’s Ministry of Transport. In cooperation with local and foreign companies, NAT conducts relevant economic and technical researches and studies such as feasibility and environmental studies. NAT has been involved in the Cairo metro network as the planning, design and construction authority.
