Mitsubishi which is the prime contractor will oversee the project’s schedule and day-to-day operations while Kinki Sharyo will deliver the rolling stock between 2025 and 2028.

Mitsubishi wins Cairo Metro Line 4 Phase 1 contract
Mitsubishi will handle the supply and installation of signalling, power supply, telecommunications, platform screen doors, and automatic fare collection. Orascom will handle the project’s civil engineering work and construction of the train operation control centre, depot and workshop.
